Level 5 Certificate in Primary School PE Specialism  

This qualification aims to upskill primary school teachers, higher  level teaching assistants and teaching assistants with extensive  experience to improve the overall delivery of the physical  education curriculum within primary schools.  On successful completion of this qualification, delegates will be  able to assist in raising the standards within primary school PE  teaching.  

Level 6 Award in Primary School PE  Subject Leadership * 

This Qualification aims to improve the overall delivery of the  physical education curriculum within primary schools. The aim of  this qualification is to upskill primary school teachers to enable  them to lead the delivering of the primary school physical education curriculum.  On successful completion of this qualification, delegates will be  able to take subject leadership within primary school physical  education teaching and deliver sustainable high quality primary  school physical education. 

COURSE DELIVERY 

We are using a unique bespoke model for 23-24 with increased focus on 1:1  support via Online learning and In school support opportunities. In addition to  this there will be 3 Off site days based at Taverham High School to cover key  theory elements of the course  

* AfPE require L6 Candidates to hold QTS—although we Self Certify candidates  without QTS following successful completion of the L6 Module

DATES 

OCTOBER 14 - 4-5pm Online intro session to the award

NOVEMBER 20-30 1:1 Intro  session for all delegates.

In person Dates tbc  W/C 22 Jan  W/C 11 Mar  W/C 10 June 

Online Learning sessions  tbc  (Appx 5 Twilight type sessions)
