PE is the hardest of subjects to lead in Primary schools, it is one of the most under-supported , un-trained roles, and arguably holds the biggest workload.

We will provide New/Aspiring PE leads with a clear picture of the Subject - and the roles and responsibilities within the subject.

The course will cover a huge range of areas including

· Core role responsibilities

· Identifying priorities in your school

· Developing Teaching and learning within PE

· Measuring Success within your role

· Basic introductions to key areas such as curriculum mapping / Planning / Assessment

· Exploring requirements of PE leads beyond PE (Clubs / Activities / Competitions / Daily Physical Activity etc.)

We will provide all attendees with a range of resources to support them in their roles—including PE Leader surveys / Staff Audits / Data tracking tools / Subject self assessment tools and more
