Rise Gymnastics by British Gymnastics

British Gymnastics are excited to have launched Rise Gymnastics an immersive recreational journey through gymnastics that can be delivered in both school and club settings.

Rise Gymnastics contains three phases; Discover, Explore and Excel, each of which includes an award scheme and supporting activities to aid delivery. Across the three phases, every child can experience a wide range of activities, fundamental movement patterns and gymnastics skills, embracing their creativity, which leads to reward at every ability level, through success and achievement.

The workshop will run through the features of the Rise Gymnastics Programme including how to make use of the online platform which provides access to videos and descriptions of all the skills within the programme. Time will be spent learning to use the activity cards and building confidence in how these can be used within your own setting. 

The workshop will also aid your understanding of the additional features of the programme including the award scheme and the schools competitions format.
